Senior Engagement Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Engagement Manager who will identify, lead and deliver a variety of projects for high profile accounts. We expect the person to be dynamic, engaging and well organised. He or she will be passionate about building great client relationships, will be skilled in growing accounts, is solid in all aspects of project management and will have great team leadership skills.
In this role, you will enjoy working on a variety of projects across a range of sectors; while alongside some of the most talented, innovative and creative minds around. Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for clients and internal teams on projects
- Liaise directly with clients in order to understand business needs/objectives, challenges, expectations and to position Different as a partner
- Collaborate with internal team leads to define project strategies and plan approaches
- Create and maintain project management artefacts (plans, statements of work, budget/cost tracking, resourcing, issues, risks etc.)
- Collaborate with internal team leads during delivery to manage scope, issues and risks
- Assist the delivery team with key presentations in order to ensure that client objectives and commercial needs are met
- Uphold the Different Methodology and Customer Centred Design Approach
- Report on business opportunities, progress, risk management, decision making process, account issues, stakeholder management
- Prepare, lead and facilitate workshops and meetings
- Contribute to ongoing process and business improvement
Desired Experience (some or all)
- 5+ years as a senior project manager and/or senior account manager at a consultancy or project office within a corporate environment
- Proven track record of delivering projects and solutions on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations
- The skills to engage with and lead client senior management project teams
- Ability to drive and direct project teams while managing smooth project transitions
- A solid understanding of and passion for Customer Centred Design
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for our growing business, brand, processes and client base
