Senior Service Design Consultant
Job Description
We are looking for Senior Specialists in Service Design, who can modernise and improve the customer experience for some of our high profile accounts. This involves re-envisioning the entire experience along the customer journey and may include retail, environment, experience, service and interaction design. As a Senior Service Design consultant, you are passionate about Customer Centred design and ideating in multi-disciplinary teams in collaboration with clients. You will have a proven track record in using design research to gain insights that can be used as a catalyst for new concept generation, present and share ideas with key stakeholders, generate and prototype holistic customer experience concepts and simulations.

Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for clients and the Different team on projects
- Liaise directly with clients to understand business needs/objectives, challenges and expectations and to position Different as a partner
- Collaborate with Team Leads to define project strategies and plan approaches
- Create and maintain project management artefacts (plans, statements of work, budget/cost tracking, resourcing, issues, risks etc.)
- Collaborate with Team Leads during delivery to manage scope, issues and risks
- Assist the delivery team in key presentations; ensuring client objectives and commercial needs are met
- Uphold the Different Methodology and Customer Centred Design Approach
- Report on business opportunities, progress, risk management, decision making process, account issues, stakeholder management
- Prepare, lead and facilitate workshops and meetings
- Contribute to ongoing process and business improvement
Desired Experience and qualities (some or all)
- 5+ years experience in service design, experience design or related design experience
- Careful attention to detail and a solid understanding of Customer Centred Design principles
- A portfolio to showcase
- A solid grasp of rapid prototyping methods
- International experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate in inter-disciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organised, responsible and efficient
- Able to work well under pressure and to interact with others
- Wants to learn and grow with an innovative and dynamic team
