Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions are applicable to the event being conducted by Different Solutions Pty Ltd (herein referred to as Different). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully and if you have any questions please email: accounts@different.com.au.
Your agreement to attend the event binds you to these Terms and Conditions.
BOOKING
In order to confirm your booking, payment of the Total Event Charge must be received by Different in full.
PAYMENT
You must pay the Total Event Charge at least 7 business days before the event.
The Total Event Charge may be paid by Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, American Express, EFT or Cheque.
GST is currently applied to this purchase. All rates are given in Australian dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax as defined in A New Tax System (Goods & Services) Tax Act 1999 (Cth). If you are paying by credit card, the actual tax applied will be included in the transaction amount that appears on your credit card statement.
If any additional or increased taxes or levies are introduced after the date of receipt of the Booking Form, Different reserves the right to require payment of the relevant additional amount.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Different does not provide refunds for cancellations. Should you be unable to attend the event, a substitute delegate is acceptable at no extra charge. For cancellations received by Different in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the event, you will receive a credit to be used at another Different event for up to one year from the date of issue, however, a 15% service fee will be deducted from the value of the credit. For cancellations received less than seven (7) days prior to the event, no credits will be issued.
In the event that Different cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future Different event and will be valid for up to one year from the date of issue.
Where Different postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a 100% credit representing payments made towards a future Different event and will be valid for up to one year from the date of issue. No refunds will be available for cancellations or postponements.
Different is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of an event. Nor will any liability attach to Different if this event is altered, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled due to a fortuitous event, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of the event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible.
For the purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation facilities/means of transportation; or any other emergency.
SPEAKERS AND CONTENT
Please note that speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, however, circumstances beyond the control of Different may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics.
As such, Different reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
PRIVACY
In registering for this event, relevant details you supply may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates. Your details will also be made available to parties directly related to the event such as banks for the purposes of processing payments. Your details and information will also be added to Different’s database in order to liaise and correspond with you. Please note that should you not wish your details to be used in the manner described above, we may be unable to process your booking or registration.
Different will not pass on your details to any other organisation without your permission. From time to time it may be used primarily to provide you with further information about other events and services offered by Different. Acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to constitute your consent to the use of your personal information as indicated above.

DISCLAIMER
Neither the event presenters or Different accept any responsibility for damages of any nature sustained by delegates or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to the personal property of delegates or their accompanying persons as a result of their attendance at the event.
GENERAL
If any of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, it will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining Terms and Conditions will survive and remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in New South Wales and the parties irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
